Job Description / Responsibility * BSRM Group of Companies is one of the largest groups of companies engaged in steel manufacturing in Chittagong for the last 59 years. We are running the most modern, fully automatic, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified steel re-rolling mill in the name of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited (BSRM) and a steel melting shop in the name of Meghna Engineering Works Limited (MEW). We have also set a state of the art rolling mill at Fouzderhat, Chittagong, one of the largest of its kind in South East Asia, in the name of BSRM Steels Limited (BSRMS) with a capacity of 500,000 Tons / year of bars as per the latest international standards. Besides we are also running a new steel melting shop in the name of BSRM Iron & Steel Co. Limited (BISCO) at Nasirabad I/A, Chittagong. * We are now looking for highly motivated, self – driven and pro – active person for immediate appointment in the following position: * Profile Description: This role is accountable for trouble-shooting IT issues raised by the users. * Key Responsibilities:: * Functional Activities: * Attend to IT calls assigned on a timely basis * Update user on the status of resolution * Escalate calls as required on a timely basis * Install, update & configure all types of software like operating system, Database, Antivirus, in-house software and other application packages * Create routine log file analysis, root cause analysis, etc * Ensure PC and Server maintenance for improving performance is conducted at all levels in timely manner. * IT asset register maintenance. * Prepare updated project status as per requirement. * Documentation, housing and maintenance in a timely manner. * Coordination: * Coordinating with vendors for support * Coordinate with members of hardware and ERP team for resolution of calls * Give support to all desktop users about system Educational Requirements B.Sc. with computer certification. B.Sc. in Computer Science is preferable. Experience Requirements * 1 to 4 year(s) Additional Job Requirements 1-4 years of work experience in IT. Job Location Chittagong
