Job Description / Responsibility

* Draw a plan for outreach activity for effective implementation of MSM & hijra programming
* Implement a wide range of STI/HIV prevention strategies specific to needs of the different male to male and hijra sexual networks.
* Provide on site support to peer educators to implement the various STI/HIV prevention strategies in a proper way amongst the different sexual networks and sites of MSM and hijra.
* Liaison with peer educator work towards ensuring access to appropriate sexual health services, information and products, such as condoms, STI/HIV testing, counselling.
* Work with the other agency staff to ensure the provision and access to drop in facilities for the range of support, educational and discussion groups for MSM & hijra focusing on sex health education, behaviour modification, gender, class, religious and caste issue, marriage and families.
* Ensure safeguard & distribution of all sexual health supplies i.e. condom, lubricant, etc properly.
* Assist in providing appropriate advice, information and counselling to meet the psychosocial and sexual health needs of MSM & hijra.
* Work with other BSWS staff in developing educational resources for MSM/hijra, using appropriate imagery, contexts and terminology.
* Provide regular reports to the DIC Manager on activities and interventions.
* Assist respective DIC Manager in the provision of appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports regularly on the work being done.
* Enter field monitoring data on a regular basis, produce report and share any deviations with the peer educator.
* Conduct regular meetings with peer educators.
* Assist DIC Manage to prepare monthly and Quarterly reports


Educational Requirements

* The candidates should have minimum HSC
* For the community people education may be relaxed ( up to pre-secondary or equivalent)

* The Finance and Admin. Officer is responsible to work closely with Finance and Admin. Dept. to ensure all the financial and administrative affairs is being carried out according to the policy and procedures of Concern Worldwide and the respective donors.
* Major areas of responsibility:
* Support WRA,B secretariat in preparation, revision of budget for WRA,B programs.
